Build me a native Mac video editor that feels like a simple, modern alternative to Premiere or CapCut, but designed to work with AI agents right inside the timeline. I want a real editing app for Apple Silicon on macOS Tahoe where I can open a project, work with clips in a timeline, and have an in app chat or connected agent help me edit the same project.

It should expose a local MCP server so tools like Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor can connect to the open app and interact with the timeline. I also want the app side of built in AI media generation, like creating images or videos from prompts inside the editor, but if the actual generation backend is not open source, just wire it up cleanly with placeholders or mocks and make that obvious.

Please make it polished enough to run as a normal Mac app, with sensible project structure, basic tests, and anything needed to build and try it locally. Look up current docs online if you need to.
