Build me a social reading app called Chaptered.

I want a clean landing page and a working library where people can add books, search for books by title or author, upload a PDF for a book, read it in the browser, and log reading sessions with pages read and a short note. The app should show progress for each book, reading streaks, and simple library stats like total books, pages read, and how many books are finished or still in progress.

Make it feel polished and easy to use on desktop. I also want the data to stay saved between refreshes for now, even if it’s just local on the browser, and a small API that can search Google Books with a fallback if the API key is missing.
