Adyen/adyen-magento2 ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me an Adyen payments plugin for Adobe Commerce Magento 2 that lets merchants accept card payments through Adyen Checkout, and also supports in store POS payments through the Terminal API. I want it to plug into the normal Magento checkout flow, handle payment status updates cleanly, and process Adyen webhooks in the background so orders get updated reliably. It should also support vault style stored payment details and instant purchase, and include the basic admin side settings needed to configure Adyen credentials and payment options.

Please make it work for Magento 2.4.8, follow Magento conventions, and include whatever cron jobs, observers, and webhook handling are needed to keep payment data and order state in sync. If you need to check current Adyen or Magento docs while building it, go ahead and look them up online. I’d also like the code to be structured so it can be customized later without hacking the core plugin too much.
