AniTrend/anitrend-app — reverse-engineered prompt

Build me an Android app for anime and manga fans, kind of like AniTrend. I want people to be able to search and discover anime or manga using AniList, open dedicated detail pages, read useful info, see reviews, and track what they are watching or reading.

Please make it clear that the app does not stream anything. If official links are available, show them instead, like Crunchyroll, Netflix, Hulu, or the official site. Add a clean home screen, separate anime and manga areas, search, item details, reviews, and a simple profile or tracking section. Include light and dark themes because the screenshots show dual themes.

Use the existing Android project style and keep it practical so it can actually run. If the AniList API details are needed, look up the current docs online and wire it in cleanly. I’d like the app to feel polished enough for fans to browse, save, and follow their favorite series.
