Ayerdi/PROX2-AutoSwitch ? reverse-engineered prompt
Reverse engineered prompt
Build me a small Windows audio utility that runs quietly in the background and automatically switches the default sound output between a wireless headset and my speakers.
When the headset connects, it should switch audio to the headset. When it disconnects or powers off, it should go back to a fallback output I choose during setup. I want it to work on Windows 10 and 11, start invisibly at login, and live in the system tray so I can pause it, rerun setup, and toggle audio enhancements.
It should support a generic headset detection mode if Windows exposes the connection state, and also handle Logitech PRO X 2 properly, including showing battery percentage and connection status in the tray. If you can, keep it compatible with the older Logitech detection flow too.
Please include an easy install, verify, and uninstall flow, plus a simple one command bootstrap if that makes sense. Look up current docs online if you need to, and make sure it feels polished and safe, so a bad device read does not switch audio by mistake.
