Azaken1248/MarkdownViewer ? reverse-engineered prompt

Reverse engineered prompt

Build me a self hosted markdown library where I can browse a nested folder tree of documents, search across everything, and open a page to edit it right there in the browser. I want the files to stay as normal markdown and notebook files on disk, so the app is just a way to read and manage them, not a separate database driven content system.

It should render Mermaid diagrams, LaTeX math, and Jupyter notebooks inline, and let me edit diagrams and task checkboxes directly from the page so only the part I changed gets written back. Please include private accounts by default, with the ability to publish single documents as shareable links. I also want pasted images to be stored by content hash, saved links grouped into collections, and every document to have a real URL I can type or share.

Use plain JavaScript on the client, an Express server, and make it easy to run locally or with Docker. If you need anything unclear, look up the current docs online first.
