Build me a polished native macOS app called VoiceInk that lets me talk and have my words turned into text almost instantly. I want it to feel like a privacy focused alternative to paid dictation apps, with speech processed locally so recordings don’t leave the computer.

Make it simple to use from anywhere on the Mac. There should be a global shortcut for push to talk, a small menu bar or compact window experience, clear microphone permissions, and a settings area where I can choose recording shortcuts, launch at login, and manage transcription preferences. Add a personal dictionary so I can teach it custom names, work terms, and text replacements.

I’d also like smart writing modes, for example normal dictation, cleaner writing, and an assistant style mode where I can speak a quick question and get a ChatGPT like response. If possible, make it aware of the active app so different settings can apply automatically. Look up current macOS docs online if you need to.
