Build me a simple Windows Python desktop app for managing my own Steam game folders in a safe, legal way. I want to pick or drag in a game folder, type the game name or Steam AppID, and have the app look up basic Steam info like the AppID and DLC list from the public Steam site.

Please make it clear that it does not remove DRM, bypass Steam, download paid content, or modify game executables. It should be more like a helper that shows useful info, backs up relevant files before any optional config changes, and lets me export a small report for the selected game.

I’d like a clean beginner friendly GUI, settings, simple logs, and privacy focused behavior with no analytics. Any update check should be off by default and only run if I click it.
