Canop/broot ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a fast terminal app for browsing folders and finding files in a way that feels much easier than plain ls or tree.

I want to see a directory as a clean interactive tree, search by typing a few letters, and jump into folders without losing my place. It should ignore gitignored files by default, let me toggle hidden and ignored files, and support regular search plus searching inside file contents. I also want simple file actions like open, edit, copy, move, delete, make folders, and chmod, all without leaving the view.

Please include a preview pane for files and images, support multiple panels so I can move around and compare locations, and let me stage several files and run a command on them together. Add useful sorting options like by size or date, and a way to see disk usage and git status info too.

Make it feel polished in the terminal, with good keyboard shortcuts and quick navigation. If you need to check current terminal or Rust docs while building it, go ahead.
