Build me a private desktop app for my Mac that acts like a personal AI command center for my files, notes, and workflows. I want to choose folders like Documents, Downloads, Obsidian vaults, or agent workspaces, have the app sync them locally, read common text based files plus PDFs, DOCX files, and images, and turn everything into a searchable knowledge base that stays on my machine.

I want a clean JARVIS style interface where I can search across everything, open source snippets with citations, and see higher level concept pages, themes, links between related ideas, alerts, reminders, and useful recommendations. It should also give me one place to run AI agents and reusable workflows against my local knowledge, with the option to use local AI or a cloud model.

Please include the bridge so Claude Code can search, read, and write to this knowledge base directly. Basic sign in is fine if needed, and it is okay if some parts feel like an active prototype instead of a polished app. Look up current docs online if you need to.
