I want to build an application that acts as a self-contained, offline survival computer. The main goal is to create a central knowledge hub that I can access from a web browser on my own network, completely without an internet connection.
Think of it as a "Command Center" dashboard. From there, it should manage and give me access to several important tools. This includes a full offline version of Wikipedia and other resources like medical guides. It also needs a private, local AI chat assistant that can run on my own hardware, similar to ChatGPT, but with the ability to search and chat with my own documents. It should also have offline maps, an education platform with Khan Academy courses, and some data utility tools for things like encryption.
The whole system should be built using Docker to keep the different tools separate, but I'd like the installation to be really simple for a Debian or Ubuntu machine—ideally just a single script to get everything set up.
Are you gonna build this?
