DevMilim/alone-engine ? reverse-engineered prompt
Reverse engineered prompt
Build me a lightweight 2D game engine in Rust for pixel art games, with a fixed 480 by 270 software rendered screen that scales up cleanly and keeps pixels crisp. I want it to feel easy to use for making small platformers or top down games, with a simple component style game object setup, scene switching, input handling, sprites and animation, camera follow with a deadzone, timers, sound and music, and basic messaging between objects.
Please include kinematic movement with floor and wall detection, AABB collisions with triggers, and support for tilemaps and loading levels from LDtk. It should also have a small networking layer for multiplayer using websocket client and server support. Make the API pleasant enough that I can define a player, give it movement, collision, animation, and a camera, then just run the app and see it work.
If anything is unclear, look up current docs online and keep the implementation simple and practical.
