Build me a desktop virtual assistant for Ubuntu based Linux that I can talk to with my voice or type into. It should listen for commands, understand simple things like math and common system style requests, answer general questions by looking things up, and chat back when it does not know the answer. I want it to feel like a real assistant on Linux, with text to speech so it can speak replies out loud and speech to text so I can use my microphone.

Please make it easy to install and run on a normal Ubuntu or Debian system, and also make sure it can run in Docker for server use. If you need to check current docs for the speech tools or any setup steps, look up the latest info online. Keep it focused on English and on the assistant experience, not a big polished product, just something working end to end.
