EbookFoundation/free-programming-books ? reverse-engineered prompt

I want to create a website that serves as a huge, organized list of free learning resources for people learning to code. The main thing will be a massive collection of free programming books, but I'd also like to include sections for courses, screencasts, and other materials.

The site should be simple and easy to browse. The resources should be categorized in a few different ways: by programming language (like Python, JavaScript, etc.), by subject (like databases or machine learning), and also by human language (like Spanish, Chinese, Russian, and so on). The homepage should basically be a big table of contents that links to all these different category pages. It's also important that the project is set up so that other people can easily contribute new links and help keep the lists up to date.
