FerroxLabs/wayland-core ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a terminal based AI agent in Rust that can talk to multiple AI providers, not just one. I want it to work as a command line tool where I can either ask a single question and get an answer, or open an interactive terminal mode and keep chatting. It should be able to read files in a project, use tools like search and file lookup, and work with MCP tools too.

It should feel smart about setup, so if I paste in an API key it can figure out the provider, save it safely, and show me whether everything is connected. I also want it to support custom providers, basic config, and a way to see the resolved settings with secrets hidden. If you need to, look up current docs online for provider and MCP details, but keep the experience simple for the user.
