Flowseal/tg-ws-proxy ? reverse-engineered prompt

Reverse engineered prompt

Build me a desktop utility that makes the Telegram Desktop app run faster and connect more reliably. The idea is to create a small, local proxy server that runs in the background. It should intercept Telegram's traffic and wrap it in a WebSocket connection, which can help bypass certain network issues without needing any third-party servers.

The app should be super simple for the user. It needs to run in the system tray on Windows, macOS, and Linux. When you right-click the tray icon, there should be a menu. The most important feature is a button that says "Configure Telegram" or something similar, which automatically sets up the proxy in the Telegram app using a tg:// link. The menu should also have options to restart the proxy, open log files, and access a simple settings window.

In the settings, users should be able to see the host/port/secret and toggle an option to automatically check for new versions on GitHub when the app starts. The whole thing should be built with Python and packaged up into easy-to-install executables for each operating system.
