GoogleChromeLabs/quicklink ? reverse-engineered prompt
Reverse engineered prompt
Build me a tiny JavaScript library for speeding up page navigation on websites.
I want it to watch links that are visible on the screen, wait until the browser is idle, and then quietly prefetch those pages so the next click feels much faster. If the browser supports it, it should also be able to prerender links instead of just prefetching them, with a fallback when prerender is not available. It should avoid slow connections and respect data saver mode, and by default only work on the same site unless I explicitly allow other origins.
Please make it easy to drop into a normal website with a simple listen function, and also include a small React helper for wrapping routes in a single page app. Add a few useful options like delay, limits, throttling, timeout, and ignore rules. If you need to check current browser support or docs online, go ahead.
