GoogleCloudPlatform/terraformer ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a command line tool that can look at existing cloud infrastructure and generate Terraform files and state files from it.

I want it to support importing by provider, resource type, regions or projects, and let me filter or exclude specific resources so I can bring in only what I care about. It should be able to write the output as HCL or JSON, save files into a custom folder structure, and optionally connect resources together with remote state. If it helps, make it work with local state and bucket based state, and keep the commands simple enough that I can run it against things like AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and a few other common services.

Please make the CLI feel polished, with good help text, listing supported resources, and clear error messages when a resource cannot be imported. If you need to check the current docs for Terraform provider import behavior, do that.
