Hi1talib1World/Premortem ? reverse-engineered prompt
Reverse engineered prompt
Build me a simple command line tool called Premortem that helps me stress test a plan before I commit to it. I want to paste in a product idea, launch plan, hiring decision, strategy, or similar, and the tool should act like the thing already failed six months from now, then work backward to explain exactly why. If I do not provide a plan, it should still run using a sensible default example.
It should ask for enough context when the input is too vague, then generate a thorough premortem with several real failure reasons, a deeper writeup for each one, the hidden assumptions, early warning signs, and a clear revised plan. The final result should include a dark themed HTML report that looks polished, plus a markdown transcript and a plain text version, all saved with timestamps. In the terminal, also show a super short summary with the most likely failure, the hidden assumption, and the single biggest fix.
Use Gemini with an API key from the environment, and look up current docs online if you need to.
