Ileriayo/markdown-badges — reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a simple public site and repo for a big curated collection of markdown badges people can use in their GitHub profile or project README. I want it to feel easy to browse, with badges grouped into lots of categories like languages, tools, cloud, AI, social, operating systems, and more. Each item should show the badge image and the exact markdown snippet so someone can quickly copy and paste it.

Please make search really easy, since there will be a lot of badges, and keep the layout clean and readable. The default look should use the bold badge style, but I also want a clear note showing people they can swap the style to other common options like flat, plastic, social, and flat square by editing the link. If it makes sense, include a short usage section and a contribution note so people know how to add more badges later.

Keep it lightweight and friendly for GitHub Pages style hosting. Look up current shields.io details online if you need to.
