JR-G/ink-motion ? reverse-engineered prompt
Reverse engineered prompt
Build me a small TypeScript library for Ink CLI apps that makes text feel animated instead of static.
I want a set of reusable components for common effects like shimmer, typewriter, fade, wave, and flash, so I can drop them into an Ink app and get polished terminal motion without writing my own timers. The animations should feel smooth, support simple controls like speed, turning animation on or off, and a callback when they finish, and work nicely with React and Ink. A typewriter effect should reveal text one character at a time with an optional cursor, shimmer should move a highlight across text, fade should ease in and out, wave should add a looping motion, and flash should give a subtle glowing pulse.
Please keep the API easy to use, strongly typed, and lightweight. If you need to, look up the current Ink docs online so it fits modern usage. Also include a small demo and enough tests and documentation so it feels ready to publish.
