Build me a polished Android app for downloading videos or audio from links, using the yt dlp engine under the hood. I want it to feel simple for normal users, paste a link, choose video or audio, pick quality if available, and download it locally without a bunch of confusing steps.

Please include support for single videos and whole playlists, show download progress, and give me an in app downloads screen where I can manage finished and active downloads. For audio downloads, add metadata and cover art when possible. I would also like subtitle support, including an option to embed subtitles into video files. If it makes sense, include an optional faster external downloader mode and a way for advanced users to save custom command templates.

Make the UI modern, clean, and friendly, with dynamic colors and good dark mode support. It should feel like a real Android app, not a demo. If the repo already has translations, keep localization in mind. Look up current docs online if you need to.
