Build me a simple document question answering web app where I can upload a PDF or TXT file, then ask questions about it and get answers that stay grounded in the document.

I want a clean, modern interface with drag and drop upload, a place to type questions, and a results area that shows the answer plus the source parts of the document it used. Please make it work with a Python backend and a React frontend, and keep the document search local with a vector database so it can find the most relevant chunks before sending context to the AI. Use Gemini for the actual answer generation, and make sure the app only answers from the uploaded files instead of guessing.
