I want to build a centralized gateway to manage all of our APIs and microservices. It's becoming a hassle to handle things like authentication and security in each individual service, so this tool should act as a single, high-performance "front door" for all incoming traffic, routing requests to the correct backend.

Crucially, it also needs to function as an AI gateway. We're using models from different providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google, so I want it to easily manage and route traffic to these different LLMs. It should handle common features like authentication, rate limiting, and observability out of the box. Please make it super extensible with a plugin architecture so we can add custom functionality later. It needs to be cloud-native and designed to run well in modern environments like Docker and Kubernetes.
