Laravel/laravel ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a clean Laravel starter site that runs well out of the box and feels polished for a fresh project.

I want a simple home page, a few basic routes, and the usual app structure wired up properly, with example database migrations, a sample model, and a couple of tests so it is easy to extend. Please make the default pages look nice, keep the code organized in the normal Laravel way, and make sure the app boots cleanly from a fresh install. If anything needs current docs or best practices, look them up online and follow them.

Also please check that the main layout, assets, and config are set up so the project is ready for real development, not just a blank skeleton.
