Build me a public GitHub repo that shows how Claude skills work, with a clean README that explains what skills are, how to use them in Claude Code, Claude.ai, and the API, and how to create a basic custom skill.

I want the repo to include a set of example skill folders, a template skill I can copy, and a spec area that documents the skills format. The examples should cover a mix of creative, technical, business, and document related tasks, so people can browse them for inspiration and reuse the patterns in their own projects.

Please make it feel like a real reference repo, with clear folder organization, a simple plugin style setup for Claude Code, and enough sample content that someone could understand how skills are structured without needing extra explanation. If anything depends on current Claude docs or best practices, look them up online and follow the latest guidance.
