LotusInputMethod/fcitx5-lotus — reverse-engineered prompt

Build me an open source Vietnamese input method for Linux called Lotus that works with Fcitx5. I want it to feel simple, fast, and smooth for everyday typing, especially without the annoying underlined preedit text while composing Vietnamese.

It should install as a normal Fcitx5 input method, show the right name, icon, and metadata, and work across common Linux apps. Please include a small settings app so users can change the basic options without editing files by hand. Add Vietnamese and English text where it makes sense, since the project is aimed at Vietnamese Linux users but should still be understandable to others.

Please set up the C++ source, build files, install targets, translations, packaging friendly layout, and clear README instructions for building from source on common Linux distros. Look up the current Fcitx5 docs online if you need to. Make it clean enough that contributors can maintain it later.
