Build me a simple public update channel for a Duolingo Android app.

I want one clean JSON file that can be hosted publicly and checked by the app to see if there is a newer version available. It should include the current version, a download link, and a short message that can tell users what changed or why they should update.

Keep it easy to edit by hand, and make sure the format is clear and consistent so the app can read it without issues. If there’s a common or better JSON shape for Android update checks, feel free to use that and keep it simple. I mostly need this to work as a lightweight update source that I can maintain without much effort.
