Mir-Zairan/paste-shots ? reverse-engineered prompt
Reverse engineered prompt
Build me a Linux app that makes it easy to batch multiple screenshots and paste them into whatever app I’m using in one action.
I want it to watch my screenshots folder, show a tray icon with the number of new screenshots, and let me paste the newest shots, the last few shots, or pick shots from a simple thumbnail chooser. It should work well on Ubuntu and GNOME, with a floating draggable widget option for quick access, and a settings window where I can change things like the watch folder, paste delay, notifications, launch at login, and which apps are allowed to receive pastes.
It should also have a command line so I can paste from the terminal, view or change settings, check the focused app class, and quit the tray cleanly. Please make it work on Wayland first, with X11 fallback where needed, and keep it local with no cloud stuff. If you need current GNOME or clipboard docs, look them up online.
