NYCPlanning/dob-permits-geocode ? reverse-engineered prompt

Reverse engineered prompt

Build me a small Node.js based data pipeline that takes the public NYC DOB permits CSV and turns it into a spatial dataset with point locations added to each record.

It should download the latest permits file, clean out any bad rows that break parsing, load everything into a database, and then try to match each permit to a location using parcel and building data first, then a saved lookup table, and finally the city geocoding service for anything still unmatched. Keep a record of the geocoding results so future runs do not keep asking the API about the same addresses. After it finishes, export a shapefile with all the original permit fields plus geometry, a CSV of the rows that still could not be matched, and a small text file with the last run time. I also want it set up to run automatically every day, and if you need current API or data format details, look them up online first.
