Build me a universal Linux package manager in Bash called Nhopkg.
I want it to work on pretty much any GNU Linux distro, with support for both binary packages and source packages. It should be able to install packages, build from source when needed, resolve required and optional dependencies, create and manage local repositories, and also make a package from software that is already installed. Include the related helper tools for source packages, repository management, user and group management, and isolated builds.
Please make it feel practical for real systems, including configuration under /etc, runtime data under /var, man pages, translations, and the usual system integration stuff like MIME types and icons where relevant. If it helps, use current Meson and Ninja setup best practices, and look up any current docs online if you need to.
Keep it compatible with minimal and rolling release environments, and make sure there is an option to use a private static BusyBox and zstd setup for extra reliability.
