Build me a Python project that acts like a smart financial research assistant using OpenAI and OpenBB data. I want to be able to ask questions like current stock price, market cap, peer comparisons, and simple fundamentals analysis, and have the agent figure out what data to pull on its own and explain the answer in plain English.

It should work with an OpenAI API key, use OpenBB Platform credentials when available, and still work with default data sources when no extra keys are set. Please include both a normal version and an async version, plus a simple way to run it from a script or notebook. If you need to check current OpenBB docs online to make sure the functions and setup are correct, go ahead. Make it easy to try locally, and add a few basic tests so I can see that it works.
