Orange-OpenSource/hurl ? reverse-engineered prompt
Reverse engineered prompt
Build me a command line tool called Hurl that lets me write HTTP requests in plain text files and run them from the terminal.
I want it to be easy to use for checking APIs and web pages, so I can send GET and POST requests, pass data between requests, and verify things like status codes, headers, JSON values, XPath values, response size, and request duration. It should support simple form data, JSON, XML, GraphQL, and basic auth style requests too.
Please make it feel like a fast developer tool, with clear error output, verbose mode, and useful reports I can use in CI like text, JUnit, TAP, and HTML. A single binary would be great, and if you need to look up current docs online while building it, go ahead.
