Build me a system for managing our work based on the "Manus-style" workflow. The core idea is to use a persistent markdown file, like plan.md, as a central task list for a project. I want to be able to write down a checklist of steps, and you should be able to read that plan, execute the tasks, and then update the file to mark them as complete.

A crucial feature is session recovery. If I need to clear our chat history because the context window gets full, you should be able to automatically figure out where we left off by re-reading the plan file and seeing what's been done. This way, we can tackle big projects over long sessions without losing our place.

Make this a portable skill written in Python so it can work across different coding assistants like Cursor, Claude, or Copilot. You can check out popular GitHub repos for this to see how it's done.
