PromptBranch/promptbranch ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a local first app for managing AI prompts on my own computer.

I want to be able to save prompts, tag them, put them into collections, star favorites, search them quickly, and keep notes and history for each one. It should also let me version prompts like branches, so I can edit safely, compare changes, save new versions, and track why something changed. I’d like a way to test a prompt against different AI models, see the results side by side, and keep ratings and run logs so I can tell what works best.

Please also include a simple command line tool and an MCP server that use the same prompt library, so agents can read prompts, report runs, add notes, and suggest improvements, but any suggested changes should stay pending until I approve them. If you can, make sharing and device to device sync work too, while keeping everything local first and under my control. Look up current docs online if you need to.
