Reverse engineered prompt

Build me a small React library that lets me place Three.js scenes inside a Mapbox or Maplibre map using React.

I want a simple Canvas component I can drop into an existing react-map-gl map, then pass a latitude and longitude so my 3D content shows up in the right place. It should feel like normal react-three-fiber, so I can render meshes, lights, and multiple objects without doing a bunch of custom map math.

Please also include helpers for placing objects at different map coordinates, and make pointer interactions work naturally so I can click and hover on 3D objects in the map. If it makes sense, add a couple of example pages so I can see it working with both Mapbox and Maplibre.

Keep the setup clean, modern, and TypeScript friendly, and if you need to check current docs online for map or R3F behavior, go ahead.
