Build me a research Q and A app for epidemic modeling and network science papers.

The app should return a clear answer with citations back to the source passages, plus links to the papers when available. It should also handle cases where the local papers do not cover the question by searching the web and mixing those results in.

Make it feel smart and conversational, with a live updating answer while it thinks, and include a simple way to improve the query before searching. If the question is really about finding papers rather than answering one, it should just return relevant papers instead of doing the full back and forth debate.
