Please turn this into a clean, working Python app.

Use the existing app.py as the starting point, fill in any missing pieces, and make sure the project runs without me having to figure out a lot of setup. If the code is incomplete or broken, fix it and make the app feel polished and easy to use. I’d like sensible defaults, basic error handling, and a simple flow that just works.

Please also check the dependencies in requirements.txt and add anything that is clearly needed, but keep it lightweight. If you need to look up current docs online for any library behavior, go ahead and do that. After you build it, make sure it can be launched easily from the repo and give me a short note on how to run it.
