Reverse engineered prompt
Build me a clean employee dashboard app in React and TypeScript that can handle a really big list, even 100,000 employees, without feeling slow.
I want a main data grid with sticky headers, smooth scrolling, search that works across multiple fields, sorting by clicking column headers, filters for status and department, pagination, and a way to add a new employee with form validation. Also include export to CSV for the matching rows, and make sure it is safe for spreadsheet apps.
Around the grid, add an overview page with a few useful stats and a simple breakdown of departments and statuses, plus an analytics page with payroll and salary insights. Add a settings page where I can change dataset size and row density, and have those choices stick after refresh.
Make it feel like a real product, with a responsive layout, sidebar navigation, and nice empty or not found states. If you need to, look up current docs online before wiring up anything tricky.
