RustCrypto/AEADs ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a Rust crypto workspace for authenticated encryption with associated data. I want a set of small crates for common modern encryption options like AES GCM, ChaCha20 Poly1305, AES SIV, AES GCM SIV, CCM, EAX, OCB, Ascon, and the other related modes, all written in pure Rust.

The goal is for someone to be able to encrypt and decrypt messages safely, include extra trusted data, and get an error if anything was changed. Please make the crates feel consistent to use, with a shared trait based API, good docs, and simple examples showing how to encrypt, decrypt, and use associated data. If there are any current docs or best practices that matter, look them up online and follow them.

I’d also like the project to build cleanly as a workspace, include tests and benchmarks where useful, and keep everything easy to understand for someone who just wants to use the library without digging through crypto details.
