RxNaison/Epson-Waste-Reset ? reverse-engineered prompt

Reverse engineered prompt

Build me a cross platform C++ app that can reset the waste ink pad counter on Epson printers over USB, and if possible over the network too.

It should detect connected Epson printers automatically, show the current printer status and counter values first, then only continue after I confirm. After the reset, it should read the values again and clearly tell me whether it worked. I want a simple command line tool that can also list printers, show status only, do a dry run, and save a log of what happened so problems are easy to debug.

Please include support for a large set of Epson models through a local printer database, and make it work offline, but also refresh the database when internet is available. If a printer is too new and not in the database yet, it would be great if the tool can still help by using a raw capture file or a mapping mode for finding the right addresses. Look up current docs online if you need to.
