Reverse engineered prompt
Build me a Python tool that helps me make academic writing sound more natural, while keeping citations safe, and also helps me synthesize research notes from PDFs into a clear evidence based literature map.
I want a local web editor where I can paste or upload text, see side by side revisions, choose between a few editing styles, and optionally use an AI rewrite mode only when I turn it on. If the AI is off, it should still work with a deterministic local rewrite. It should never change or remove citation markers, and it should give me a revision receipt showing what changed.
I also want a command line workflow for loading PDF or text sources, extracting structured source records, building a comparison matrix, finding debates, concepts, historical changes, gaps, and research questions, then exporting the results as JSON, CSV, or Markdown. If you need to look up current docs online, go ahead. Please keep everything transparent, with warnings when the evidence is weak and a clear decision required step for uncertain interpretation.
