I need an open-source observability platform, something I can self-host that's like an alternative to DataDog or New Relic. It should be a single application that pulls in logs, metrics, and traces all in one place. I want to see key application performance stats like p99 latency and error rates, and be able to visualize distributed traces for my microservices using flamegraphs and Gantt charts.

The tool should have a really fast log management system for searching and filtering, and let me build custom dashboards with different kinds of charts. I also need an alerting system to let me know when things go wrong. It seems like a lot of apps are using AI now, so let's also add a feature for LLM observability to track token usage and performance. For the tech, let's use a modern stack with a React frontend that would be easy to deploy with Docker.
