Build me a local first PDF question answering app that runs on my machine and keeps my files private.

I want to upload one or more PDFs, ask questions in plain English, and get clear answers with page citations so I can see where each answer came from. It should feel fast, stream the response as it generates, and only answer from the documents I uploaded instead of making things up. Please include a simple web interface that works locally, plus a backend that can handle uploads, chat, and a health check. If it helps, use current docs online for any setup details.

Make it easy to run with one command on a fresh machine, and keep the data stored locally so nothing leaves my computer. If there’s a good way to show source chunks or document references in the UI, include that too.
