TA-Lib/ta-lib-python ? reverse-engineered prompt
Reverse engineered prompt
Build me a Python package that gives people a simple, fast way to use the TA Lib technical analysis library from Python.
I want it to feel easy for someone working with market price data in numpy, pandas, or polars. It should expose the common indicators people expect, like RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, Stochastic, ADX, and also candlestick pattern recognition. Speed matters, so use a compiled wrapper approach instead of a slow pure Python version.
Please make installation as painless as possible across Mac, Linux, and Windows. If binary wheels can be built so users do not have to fight with the underlying C library, do that. If native setup is still needed in some cases, add clear install and troubleshooting docs for each platform.
Include a small set of examples, solid tests, and clean Python style APIs so people can pass in price arrays or series and get back results naturally. Look up current docs online if you need to.
