TeamNewPipe/NewPipe ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a lightweight Android app for watching and listening to online video and audio without needing to log in. I want it to feel like a simple streaming front end that supports YouTube, YouTube Music, PeerTube, Bandcamp, SoundCloud, and media.ccc.de.

The main things I want are search, browsing channels or creators, opening videos and music, playing up to 4K when available, background audio so I can lock my phone, and a small floating popup player. Please also include downloads for videos or audio when possible, and make it work on phones and tablets.

Keep it privacy friendly and usable on Android devices that don’t have Google apps or Google Play Services installed. Don’t require user accounts. Make the interface clean, fast, and easy to understand, with sensible error messages when a service breaks or a stream can’t load.

Use the current Android approach that fits this project, and look up current docs online if you need to.
