TheAlgorithms/C ? reverse-engineered prompt
Reverse engineered prompt
Build me a big collection of C programs that show common algorithms and data structures in a clean, educational way.
I want the code to be split into sensible folders for things like sorting, searching, math, dynamic programming, greedy methods, graphs, strings, and a few fun extras like games or simple machine learning examples. Keep each algorithm in its own small, easy to read C file, use only the standard C library, and make sure everything works with C11. Add short explanations in comments so someone learning from the code can follow along, and include simple self checks or demo main functions where it makes sense.
Please also set up the project so it builds cleanly on Linux and Mac, and generate good documentation from the source. If any parts are unclear, look up current docs online and follow common open source conventions. The main goal is a well organized, beginner friendly repository that teaches algorithms through working code.
