Vencord/Vesktop — reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a custom Discord desktop app like Vesktop. I want it to feel like Discord but be lighter, faster, and more privacy friendly than the official app, especially on Linux.

It should come with Vencord already included, support normal Discord login and usage, and handle Linux screen sharing properly, including audio and Wayland support. The app should keep Discord from getting broad access to the user’s system where possible. It needs to run as a desktop app, not just a browser tab, and it should be possible to run it locally during development or package it for the current operating system.

Please keep the first version focused on the core desktop client experience and don’t promise global keybinds yet. Use TypeScript if that makes sense for this kind of app. Look up current docs online if you need to, and make it easy for someone to install dependencies, start the app, and build a packaged release.
