WhatsApp/proxy ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a simple way to run a WhatsApp chat proxy on my own server so I can connect to WhatsApp when direct access is blocked.

I want the project to be easy to start with Docker, and ideally also have a docker compose setup for running it as a service and restarting after reboots. It should expose the needed ports for WhatsApp chat and media, support the self signed certificates it generates on startup, and have a basic status page I can open in a browser to confirm it’s working. If it makes sense, include a clear setup flow and a small config option for host names or IPs used in the SSL certificate.

Keep it focused on chat and media only, not VoIP. If you need to check anything current, look up the latest docs online.
