Build me a modern-looking desktop app for downloading videos and audio from the internet. It should work on Windows, Mac, and Linux. The main feature is a simple UI where I can just paste a URL from almost any site—like YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, or Twitter—and it gives me download options.

I want to be able to grab entire playlists, not just single videos, and also have the option to download just the audio track. For more advanced users, it should allow downloading a specific clip from a video (range selection) and fetching subtitles if they're available.

Please include a couple of themes, like a light and a dark mode. A really useful feature would be a built-in video compressor to help shrink file sizes after downloading. Make sure it's fast and doesn't have any ads or user tracking. It should also support multiple languages.
